Important information for all Kansas Youth Soccer Coaching Courses:
- Courses are subject to cancellation should enrollment not meet the course minimum. Minimum 15 coaches participating per course
- All courses open to any and all coaches in Kansas as well as coaches from other State Associations
- Coaches interested in registering must complete the ONLINE REGISTRATION and pay online at the time of the registration
- Attendance for the ENTIRE course is MANDATORY for course completion and receiving your certificate
- Coaches should bring a properly inflated soccer ball to each course and should come prepared for indoor and outdoor activities
- If paying by check for the "E" and "D" courses should be made payable to the Kansas Youth Soccer Association and mailed to 708 S. Rogers Road, Ste. C, Olathe, KS 66062
- No testing required for courses listed as "certificate", testing required for courses listed as a "license" (D License and higher)
- There is no pre-requisite to register the "E" course, although attending the Youth Module (U9/U12) course is highly recommended
- All candidates who wish to enroll in the "D" license must have successfully completed the "E" course and have held it for at least 6 months. Coaches may apply for a waiver which is permission to bypass the E and go straight into the D License, however it doesn’t give you a certificate/license. In order to waive past the E and go into the D a coach must have:
- Four years of college playing experience or higher AND
- Four years of competitive coaching experience (U11 or older)
- If a coach meets both of these criterium then they should complete the Kansas Youth Soccer D Waiver Policy Request Form and submit a Sample Lesson Plan, a completed E Methods Test and the Laws of the Game Examination to Kansas Youth Soccer's Director of Coaching Education at Kansas Youth Soccer c/o D Waiver and mail to 708 S. Rogers Road, Ste. C, Olathe, KS 66062.
