FEES, BONDS AND APPEALS
ANNUAL PLAYER REGISTRATION FEES
Youth Player Registration Fees (initial rostering)
- Out of State Players registering with Kansas Clubs/Teams: The fee set for such player by the player’s State of residence.
- Competitive/Premier Player: $13
- Academy/Recreational Player: $7
- Multiple-rostered Player: $5
- Transferred Player: $5
- Replacement Card: $2
- Indoor Registration Fees: As determined by the Executive Director per Rule 8.4. Currently $1 additional per player. All players must be registered with KSYSA or another US Soccer Member Organization.
- Kansas resident playing as At-Large Player: $30 ($13 player fee plus $17 administrative fee)
- Kansas resident playing in another State Association: $13
- TOPSoccer Member: No Fee
- Special Recreational Player Fee for Leagues that have waived Player Accident Insurance and General Liability Insurance provided by KSYSA and provide their own Insurance for these risks: $4 (the Leagues involved, usually governmental Parks and Recreation Programs or Not for Profits such as YMCA or CYO, who have entered into a hold harmless agreement with KSYSA)
ANNUAL COACH REGISTRATION FEE
- Kansas Member League Coach: $10
- Club Coach Pass: $25
- (Leagues will be invoiced by KSYSA office)
ANNUAL LEAGUE REGISTRATION FEE: $25
PROTEST AND APPEAL FEES
- District Level: $100
- State Level: $100
- Regional Level: $200
- National Level (US Youth Soccer): $250
- National Level (USSF): $300
TRAVEL & TOURNAMENT FEES
- Tournament Hosting Fees
Recreational or Small-Sided Tournament (Performance Bond): $150
Within 7 days of completion of tournament: $2 per team entered
Competitive/Premier Tournament (Performance Bond): $150
Within 7 days of completion of tournament: $5
per team entered
- Permission to Travel (Travel Permit) Fees
Online E-Travel Fee (regardless of day before event): $20
ANNUAL REFEREE REGISTRATION FEE
- Kansas Referees Officiating Youth Games: $10
(Payment must be sent to KSYSA office with documents listed below)
Effective July 1, 2009, all referees who are 18-years-old or older during a seasonal year that will be working Kansas Youth Soccer sanctioned leagues, tournaments or friendly games must complete a Referee Online Disclosure Form and submit a completed Referee Risk Management Form with $10 annual fee to Kansas Youth Soccer.
All referees who are 18 and above will have a mandatory background check performed. Referees will NOT be permitted to work any Kansas Youth Soccer event if he or she has not completed an Online Disclosure and been approved by Risk Management.
