Overview
In June of 2012 State Cup will, for the last time, be played with a mixed combination of ages and genders which include U13 and U14 Boys and Girls; High School Boys and High School Girls.
Beginning with September of 2012, High School Girls State Cup play will move to the fall and U13-U14 Boys and Girls and High School Boys will be played in June of 2013.
The outline below details information about the June 2012 State competition.
Teams coming from out of town MUST stay in one of the approved tournament hotels.
Dates
The Kansas State Youth Soccer State Cup will be held in Overland Park, KS May 30-June 8, 2012
(U13 and U14 Boys and Girls and High School Boys will begin play tentatively on May 30th; High School Girls will begin play on June 1st)
Region II State Cup will be held in Saginaw, MI June 22-27, 2012
National Championship’s will be held in Rock Hill, SC July 23-29, 2012
Registration
In House Registration for State Cup begin Tuesday, February 14th We have three registration periods:
February 14-29th Early Bird Registration (-$25)
March 1 Registration without discount for State Cup
March 31-April 8 Late Registration for State Cup, (+$100)
Hotels
Teams coming from out of town who plan to spend the night are REQUIRED to stay in one of the following Tournament hotels

Registration Fees
U13 and U14 Boys and Girls - $650 Paid online *check Early Bird Discounts above
Bond Fees - $300 per team
High School Boys and Girls – Single Elimination Tournament - $275 First game fee due at registration paid online
Bond Fees - $300 per team
Information on Bond Fees:
Individual team bonds will be $300.00 OR Clubs with 3 or more teams entering State Cup play may elect to pay a Club Bond of $900 in lieu of the individual Team Bond for all their teams -
o Bond Fees (Club OR Team) are non refundable/forfeited if:
Teams do not check in at the stated check in dates and times
Teams do not show to any game (pool play, semi final or final)
Teams qualify for Region II competition but elect not to go
· Bonds shall be retained by the State office for any team advancing to Regionals to apply toward Regional fees and teams will be responsible at that time for another $300 entry fee (total of $600) due and payable to the State Office no later than June 8th at 5pm. These fees are non refundable. Clubs who use the Club Bond option must pay $300 for any team (over 3 already paid for) advancing to Regional play no later than June 8th at 5pm plus the additional $300 entry fee required. ALL BOND FEES are to be paid via team or club check – they will not be collected online.
*Please note, the bond fees and entry fee payments are a change from past years.
This is due to the fees being raised at the Regional and National levels.
Rosters
Rosters for U13 and U14 boys and girls and high school boys teams competing in State Cup will be frozen on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 5pm
Rosters for high school girls teams competing in State Cup will be frozen on May 27, 2012 at 5pm
Teams may have up to 22 players on their rosters
No more than 5 Coaches may be listed
No more than 5 transfers will be allowed. If teams are using a Club Roster system they will need to bring a copy of their original (first event) roster with them to Check in. Please be familiar with rules regarding rosters by checking the National Championship Series rules above.
Tournament Rosters are to be entered in Got Soccer by freeze date and time per age/gender group

Bring:
A copy of an approved USYSA Kansas State Roster
A copy of an original event roster if using Club Pass system
USYSA Player Cards for each player with any previous tournament stickers removed
Notarized Medical Release Forms dated between June of 2011 and June of 2012
