~2013-2014 Kansas Junior State Championships~


The purpose of the Kansas Junior State Championships is to provide the opportunity for “Elite” teams at the younger ages to experience a culminating event with competitive significance.  The event will help teams gain experience for future State Cup competitions, US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional Championships and the US Youth Soccer National Championships.    There will be both a PREMIER and an OPEN Division for teams to choose from.  Teams playing in the Jr State Championships must be U11 or U12 teams both boys and girls and it is open to ANY team wishing to play in either division.

A copy of an approved USYSA Kansas State Roster

USYSA Player Cards for each player with any previous tournament stickers removed - AND showing date of birth verification next to their date of birth (verified)

Notarized Medical Release Forms dated between May of 2013 and May of 2014

Coaches Requirements
Coaches at the Jr State Championship Level are not required to have a level of certification but it is recommended that at minimum a "D" license be held.

Coaches ARE REQUIRED to obtain a certification of Concusion Management.  
Individuals should go to the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). The program is free of charge. The NFHS requires a user to login but allows for tracking of progress and allows users to log in and print their certification should they require a new certificate.
