Overview

The purpose of the 2012 Kansas Junior State Championships is to provide the opportunity for “Elite” teams at the younger ages to experience a culminating event with competitive significance.  The event will help teams gain experience for future State Cup competitions, US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional Championships and the US Youth Soccer National Championships.    There will be both a PREMIER and an OPEN Division for teams to choose from.

Teams coming from out of town MUST stay in approved tournament hotel.

Dates

The Kansas State Youth Soccer Jr State Championships will be held at the Overland Park Soccer Complex: 13700 Switzer, Overland Park, KS 
2013 Dates to set aside are May 28 to June 6
Exact dates will be determined once all teams have registered

Registration

In House Registration for Jr State Championships will begin in January of 2013
Late fees will begin February 19th
Registration Deadline is March 15th

Hotels

Teams coming from out of town who plan to spend the night are REQUIRED to stay in Tournament hotel venues 

Registration Fees

All Teams - $550

Bond Fees - $300

Information on Bond Fees:

Individual team bonds will be $300.00 OR Clubs with 3 or more teams entering State tournament play may elect to pay a Club Bond of $900 in lieu of the individual Team Bond for all their teams -

o    Bond Fees (Club OR Team) are non refundable/forfeited if:

Teams do not check in at the stated check in dates and times

Teams do not show to any game (pool play, semi final or final)

Teams qualify for Region II competition but elect not to go

Rosters

Rosters for all teams competing in the Jr State Championships will be frozen on Monday, May 13th

Teams may have up to 13 players on their rosters

No more than 3 Coaches may be listed

Tournament Rosters are to be entered in Got Soccer by Sunday, May 12th 

Team Check In

Tournament check in will be held at Tournament Headquarters Overland Park Soccer Complex

Bring:

A copy of an approved USYSA Kansas State Roster

USYSA Player Cards for each player with any previous tournament stickers removed - AND showing date of birth verification next to their date of birth (verified)

Notarized Medical Release Forms dated between May of 2012 and May of 2013
