WHAT IS THE KANSAS STATE LEAGUE (KSL)?

The Kansas State League (KSL) is the official KSYSA sanctioned league for clubs and teams interested in qualifying play for the Kansas State Cup Tournament and the Midwest Regional League (MRL) play.

The KSL will start play in the Fall of 2012 with KSYSA registered teams, players, and staff adhering to the rules and policies of US Soccer Federation, US Youth, and Kansas Youth Soccer Association to insure the consistent application and integrity of its member clubs/teams.

The KSL will provide the opportunity for all competitive member clubs/teams throughout the state of Kansas the opportunity to compete against the top teams within an age group for the purposes of:

  • State Cup Rankings.
  • Qualifying to the Quarter-finals of Kansas State Cup play.
  • Qualifying to the Midwest Regional League (MRL) play.

The KSL is unique as a league since Coaches of the member clubs/teams will serve on the League Committee, the governing body of the KSL.  Click on the KSL Rules to the right to view the League Rules and Policies.
