Kansas State League Policy for MRL Endorsement
Starting the 2013-2014 Seasonal Year, teams wishing to participate in the Midwest Regional League (MRL) must be registered and have participated in a season of the Kansas State League (KSL) during the 2012-2013 Seasonal Year. Teams could register and participate in BOTH leagues if they so desire.
For the 2012-2013 Seasonal Year, teams that have previously participated in the MRL during the 2011-2012 seasonal year will be granted endorsement for the current seasonal year without participation in the KSL. ALL other teams must register and/or participate in the KSL for the 2012-2013 seasonal year. Teams could register and participate in BOTH leagues if they so desire.

MRL REGISTRATION FOR SPRING 2013 SEASON

This is a new registering system so you will not need a team code as previously provided. In the new system, Team Admins can go back in to update their applications as necessary (REMEMBER YOUR LOGIN & PASSWORD YOU CREATE & USE).

MRL TEAM ENTRY FEE - is $450 per team plus $25 Administrative Fee for a total of $475 check made payable to: Kansas Youth Soccer and received by November 6, 2012 (one check - memo: AGE, GENDER, TEAM NAME - i.e. U15G KC Toyota).
*Payment will only be deposited ONCE your team has been accepted to participate in the MRL.
**For those teams not accepted, the checks will be shredded.
Team Entry Fee not received by this date will result in that team NOT being approved and endorsed for MRL participation.
*Any payment received LATE (postmarked or hand delivered AFTER November 6) will require a LATE FEE of $50.00 additional to the original fee of $475.*

MRL 2013 SPRING SEASON INFORMATION FOR TEAMS (Application/Registration; Rules and Policies; etc.)
MRL COACHES - LICENSING REQUIREMENT FOR FALL 2013 SEASON
The following rule is in place - “Team Coaches – Licensing Requirement"
Currently, Coaches of teams participating in the MRLmust hold a US Soccer "D" license (or equivalent).
Beginning in the 2013-2014 season, all coaches participating in MRL games must hold at least a US Soccer "C" license (or equivalent*) as the minimum coaching qualification.
*Equivalencies are based on US Soccer standards.”
At the time that a team submits an application to participate in the MRL, It should be expected that teams will be required to list all coaches (DOC, Head Coach, and Assistant Coaches) and their current coaching license status. Proof of Coaching License status will be required.
Within the MRL, holders of a NSCAA Advanced National Coaching diploma is considered equivalent to a US Soccer “C” License, and holders of a NSCAA National Coaching diploma is considered equivalent to the a US Soccer “D” License.
