MRL Registration for the Spring 2014 Season

The MRL began accepting Team Applications for the Spring Midwest Regional League season on October 8th . If your team wishes to participate in the MRL for the Spring of 2014, they must have played in the 2012-13 State Cup tournament.

Deadline to register is Tuesday, November 5th.

MRL expects to announce the accepted teams and placement of teams tiers and subdivisions around November 27

Team Payment is due and payable by November 5th at 5pm.  

This is a new registering system so you will not need a team code as previously provided.  In the new system, Team Admins can go back in to update their applications as necessary (REMEMBER YOUR LOGIN & PASSWORD YOU CREATE & USE).

MRL TEAM ENTRY FEE - is $450 per team plus $25 Administrative Fee for a total of $475 check made payable to: Kansas Youth Soccer and received by November 5, 2013 (one check - memo: AGE, GENDER, TEAM NAME - i.e. U15G KC Toyota).  
*Payment will only be deposited ONCE your team has been accepted to participate in the MRL.  
**For those teams not accepted, the checks will be shredded.

 
Team Entry Fee not received by this date will result in that team NOT being approved and endorsed for MRL participation.  
*Any payment received LATE (postmarked or hand delivered AFTER November 5th) will require a LATE FEE of $50.00 additional to the original fee of $475.*

MRL COACHES - LICENSING REQUIREMENT FOR SPRING 2014 SEASON
The following rule is in place - “Team Coaches – Licensing Requirement"

Currently, Coaches of teams participating in the MRLmust hold a US Soccer "D" license (or equivalent).

Beginning in the 2013-2014 season, all coaches participating in MRL games must hold at least a US Soccer "C" license (or equivalent*) as the minimum coaching qualification.
 
*Equivalencies are based on US Soccer standards.”

At the time that a team submits an application to participate in the MRL, It should be expected that teams will be required to list all coaches (DOC, Head Coach, and Assistant Coaches) and their current coaching license status. Proof of 
Coaching License status will be required.
Within the MRL, holders of a
NSCAA Advanced National Coaching diploma is considered equivalent to a US Soccer “C” License, and holders of a NSCAA National Coaching diploma is considered equivalent to the a US Soccer “D” License.
