Who are We?
We are your US Youth Soccer State office...leading, educating, and serving the soccer community of Kansas.  Youth Soccer...It's What We Do!

Why do a camp with Kansas Youth Soccer?
Years of experience...Kansas Youth Soccer is heavily involved in player development at ALL levels; from development to recreational to select.  In addition, Kansas Youth Soccer oversees and teaches the coaches the licensing program through the U.S. Soccer Federation.

Who are the instructors?
All of our lead instructors are some of the most qualified coaches in the state.  Most teach within our coaches' education program or coach with our Olympic Development Program and have numerous years of experience working specifically with each camp age group.

What type of camps do we offer?
Each of our camps is a little different - that way, you can choose the best fit.  We offer camps by age, gender, day camps, residential camps, and specialty camps.

Kansas Youth In-State Developmental Camp
Day/Dates:  Monday-Thursday, June 25-28, 2012
Type:  Residential
Where:  Ottawa University Campus (Ottawa, KS)
Ages: 9-12 (birth years of 2003 to 2000)
Players:  Boys and Girls
This camp is designed for players of all ability levels and is taught by the coaches within our State Olympic Development Program.  
Utilizing the latest information from our State, Regional, and National Olympic Development Programs, the focus of the camp will be on technical skills in an individual and small group environments.  In addition, roles and responsibilities in attacking and defending will also be addressed.  Our camp philosophy is to create a challenging and fun environment that helps build a solid technical foundation and develop creative young soccer players.  We emphasize developing the complete player in all 4 pillars of the game - technique, tactics, physical, and psychological.  Kansas Youth Soccer's camps are innovative in their training techniques and in creating a positive environment to develop soccer players who can reach their potential and goals.  This is a great camp for all players wishing to improve their game.

Kansas Youth High School Boys & Team Camp
Day/Dates:  Monday-Thursday, July 23-26, 2012
Type:  Residential
Where:  Ottawa University Campus (Ottawa, KS)
Ages: Grades 9-12 in the Fall 2012 school year
Players:  Boys only
This camp is designed for High School players who have Varsity level experience or aspirations.  The focus of the camp is to enhance and develop individual players for the highest levels of High School soccer.  The camp instructors have coaching/playing experience at the Collegiate levels - NCAA Division I, Division II, and NAIA.  The camp themes will focus on the interpretation and understanding of the game from various perspectives (systems and positions) as well as problem solving within the game to perform and function at the highest level both individually and within a team concept.

Kansas Youth High School Girls & Team Camp
Day/Dates:  Monday-Thursday, July 30-August 2, 2012
Type:  Residential
Where:  Ottawa University Campus (Ottawa, KS)
