The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Program Overview

Kansas Youth Soccer Association member recreational leagues are focused primarily on offering youth soccer opportunities in a balanced competitive setting. Recreational soccer is a soccer program that is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on travel or high-level competition. Each player has the opportunity to develop and enhance his or her soccer skills by participating in recreational soccer. Players ages 3 to 18 may be registered with a recreational program underneath KSYSA.

Approximately 40% of Kansas Youth Soccer registered players participate in member recreational leagues during the 2018-2019 seasonal year.  The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills including a lifelong love of the game. In Recreational Soccer the use of tryouts, invitations, recruiting or any like process to roster players selectively to any team on the basis of talent or ability is permitted.
